Philip Light has been fly fishing since the age of 12 and grew up in Bedford Pennsylvania. He learned to fly fish on Yellow Creek, one of Pennsylvania's finest trout streams with fishing partner Rusty Foreman. His love for fly fishing has taken him to several states including Montana, New York, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio and even abroad to Ireland. Philip learned to tie flies around the same time he began fly fishing, and continues to develop new flies and techniques even today.
Philip created flyfishreviews.com in 2009 with the hopes of creating the internet's premiere fly fishing equipment review site. The site has been growing at a fast pace and continues to attract new users and visitors on a daily basis. Flyfishreviews.com is co-owned by Rusty Foreman.
